Well, we're at a good start.
If you remember from the last part, we can go through here to get back to the Necromancy Lab.
Holy massive health source Batman. Too bad I'm at full health, but that won't be for long.
With these enemies going about; I really had a choice on what to use against them.
Judging by their strength they would've put up; I'm not surprised why I got a level up.
Yes, this is the joint that leads us to Dracula and Shaft. Yes, I need all the Vlad items. Yes, I haven't got them yet.
We can at least muck about on the floors below.
Since we killed Olrox; this area would need a name change. This area is now called Death Wing's Lair. Had this been a Nintendo game; the internet would be in frenzy about how it has the name "Death" and write creepypasta.
The game is nice enough to let us choose our subweapon at these parts.
I'll use the Stop Clock to explore more parts of this place.
And no, we can't use this to get to Dracula. I wonder if any noobs think you can do that.
Since this is the area before the boss, they may as well give us all the Resist based items.
I'll use the Cross as my sub-weapon because it has the highest damage output and a long attack range. Although it costs plenty of hearts to use.
They'll also be generous and give us some Max Ups; too bad there are no Magic ones.
I haven't long had a level up. Gee this place sure is generous.
Sadly though, these spike traps will be quite the sting. Healing will probably be crucial.
I suppose I could stop for a quick breakfast. Pity I hate eggs.
Ah Nova Skeletons; my other mortal enemy.
Why do I keep worrying about them?
Jack O' Bones are just combo fodder. Although those shurikens can be annoying when you get knocked back and onto the spike traps.
Well, shit.
Sometimes you have to take the easy way and use the cross.
This item could be handy for inducing poison on your opponents; although enemies probably won't be doing too much damage at this point. Also, we'll be getting a much better sword later on.
Let's see where this little detour will take us.
At least I can use this area to actually breathe without a spike trap coming up.
This will take us back to the Reverse Caverns. I'll come back to this area later.
Back to continuing my hard labor. Well, not as much labor as it is survival.
If I see another Jack O' Bone; I'll bite my controller.
Why has my remote got a bite mark?
Time for fucking tea!
Fuck that, gimme a McDonalds.
I think I have the strength to continue on with this wretched beehive.
Did I mention that this strength was non-existent?
No more taking chances, I'll use the Bat to get up here rather than the Gravity Boots.
Sometimes, I'm really am in it for the map completion.
Now that's a sight for sore eyes.
At least this isn't a Blue Venus Weed.
This place really has overstayed its welcome. We can finally get out of here and never come back. Although there probably will be a point where I have to come back. Let's hope that isn't meant to be.
Bitching is now over. We're at a more simple area and we get free healing as a bonus. Shame The Final Toccata won't shut up.
And there was me hoping that Nova Skeletons would get lost in a bottomless hole.
A bun which heals only 30 HP because junk food won't heal anything.
The camera got a little too close.
Don't forget to use the Mist to get to these nick-knacks.
Thankfully these Nova Skeletons can easily be cornered and aren't accompanied with spike traps.
I think I'll be grateful for this considering how I'm now using the Cross as my sub-weapon.
I was expecting a place like this to have a little more loot than that.
I wonder if this will encourage the rare items to appear from monsters.
There are two paths that are open to us. We'll be going both ways eventually but we may as well see to the eastern one first.
These enemies were never annoying enough for me to have a bone to pick with them. *Laugh track*
You should know what that part which I stand next to and (try to) look like a badass is by now.
In here is a boss. I'll come back to it when I can resort to a cheap trick.
They at least knew that Potions suck by now.
This part leads to the same boss. Let's head south for now.
I would love to know the process of making this I would also love to know how this tastes.
OK, now you're getting in my way.
Here's our destination. The Forbidden Library; this time there isn't a Librarian which sounds like a goblin here.
These are the enemies which I want to fight, Schmoo. They can drop the best and most broken sword in the game, the Crissaegrim. A sword which use can use while walking and hits four times per one strike. This will make the final Dracula fight last for 30 seconds and it doesn't cost magic, unlike the Shield Rod and Alucard Shield. Expect me to shuffle between these two. Sadly the Crissaegrim is a very rare drop from Schmoos and I could be quite a while.
No fucking way! This was after my first Schmoo! How was this so easy? I know you could say I'm fibbing but look at the above screenshot. There was no health change was there? This is so special.
On paper you could say they got lazy with this boss by calling it The Creature. But every wise player knows that this is Frankenstein's Monster from Mary Shelly's magnum opus. Awesome book meets awesome game is what one would say. But doesn't Castlevania predate Frankenstein in-universe though?
Castlevania fighting Frankenstein with his gun.
I can't really think of a suitable quote to fit defeating the monster.
Hopefully this isn't suggesting that we do dental surgery on Dracula. His breath stinks!
