Time to start the Inverted Castle. We'll obviously start where there's a warp point so the Castle Keep will be our first POC.

I'm glad Dracula won't reside here. God knows how many back pains he would've suffered.

This is a bit hidden but that staircase will lead to a new area.

I prefer the faster attack range of the Star Flail, meaning the blacksmith who made this was indeed a bastard.

Just a set-up for the Castlevania Football spin-off

This bit will take forever to have map completion on. Be prepared to recharge magic during this trip.

More hidden items as you can see. I thankfully my Sword Familiar can come to the rescue.

This can actually be a very handy sword, and happened to be a favorite on my first playthrough. Don't worry; the Inverted Castle was the point on my first playthrough where I told myself "I should be good at this by now". Use it by all means; I'll just be using the Star Flail for its attack range.

A jackpot of potion based items can be found here. Just a pity they'll be losing their use for me.

You know what these areas mean by now. I may as well show you what an inverted Save Point looks like.

There wasn't really much point to showing you then.

In case beginners though this was bricked up.

I rather embarrassingly forgot this spot in my first playthrough. Meaning I had to skim through the map and realize it was this area holding me back from 200.6% completion. So much for getting good eh.

I know these look like something but I can't think what.

It was generous to have a lift to get us to the warp hole.

Well shit, this led us to nowhere.

I think we need to be as quiet as the grave.

Otherwise shit like this can happen. I doubt that it will teach kids to be quiet at the cemetery.  

Or I could just cop out and steal the souls. Thankfully it won't be too long until our favorite Disc One Nuke will have retired.

The Chapel appears to have dyed a shade of indigo. It also sports a rather neat song.

Here are the spoils of this area. 

You may be under leveled in comparison to the enemies in this castle. Meaning they'll be providing you with tons of Exp at this point. Grind till they become stingy.

As usual, the change in moss signifies that a boss is on the near. Thankfully this will be the last boss that will ever show mercy to us.

You've gotta be pretty lonely if you jerk off to this. Yes, this does have the Succubus battle theme.

You should know the drill when battling bosses by now.

If you're slow on MP; just spam the Star Flail at her tail and let the Sword Familiar join in with the fun.

Told you the Exp was generous here.

I was hoping for a Life Max Up.

BRB, just gotta heal up.

Balloon Pods may be annoying and induce poison, but damn they give out juicy Exp.

Good when I need to stop for a snack.

God, I forgot how samey this area can get.

Better than nothing I suppose. Nah really, it's one of the stronger swords in the game.

The spoils of yet another duplicated area. The game designers probably found this place to be dull.

This makes up though.

Snipers of Goth may look fearsome but in practice, they're just glass cannons.

When do we get the invisibility cloak?

These Imps are like every other small enemy. And you know what that means.

I'm really starting to think I don't deserve half of these.

Not even Soul Steal will break past it too easily.

These shields are also getting on my nerves.

Calling it the Dogsbody Familiar wouldn't make much difference at this point.

I have to do things for myself. And considering what we have to face I'm not looking forward to doing such a thing.

I can't wait for the Castlevania Olympics spin-off. It seems like it has something for everyone, even those who want Maria to do swimming.

Collecting treasure is going to be a chore with these kinds of enemies going about.

This will obviously be the highest selling item in the game. I won't sell because I don't need cash anymore, it'll be useful for an achievement in the XBLA version.

Archers will take forever to kill and hit hard. But the Exp is right so I'll fight them to the death.

This may be anti-climax, stopping at a Save Point rather than a boss, but I don't like to comment on too many screenshots in one part and next part will be a long trip to the Inverted Entrance.
