This secret doorway will be dealt with a bit later on.
Crucible joke goes here.
Gremlins can go fuck themselves: they take forever to kill and the produce fire at the most inconvenient of places.
We'll be sorting out that secret doorway quicker than I thought.
As you can see, he'll start tampering with it whilst trying to sound cool in the process.
Did you really think I was going pay the Demon?
Oh shit. Venus Weeds are bitches to take down and not for the reasons that you may think.
Geez, who would've thought that Venus Weeds were like those generic anime girls.
I have no choice but to steal her soul.
I was too fast to capture all of the text but you get the idea right?
+24 Strength, -24 Defense. No thank you.
Peanuts are delicious, yet Alucard has to throw them and catch them with his mouth. Guess Lisa never taught him not to play with his food.
This was beer in the Japanese version of the game. It only heals 15HP in an attempt to show the side effects of alcohol. I love how a game full of naked ladies had to censor beer. Then again I don't know jack shit about how the ESRB works.
Another bomb which is a one-time use. I can't see myself using it with Soul Steal going about.
Another warp point. Could be convenient for an upcoming point in the game.
I don't think there's much room left for this one. I thought it was funny at the time.
This bomb has a unique gimmick: if the coin lands on heads, all the enemies will be blasted and you get their health, if tails the coin will just get hit by a lightning strike. Where's Edgar when you need him?
Anything this can do, you other weapons can do better.
The Abandoned Mine was quite short. Ah well, the Catacombs has a more interesting enemy selection and a kick arse song.
This item could be good in conjunction with Dark Metamorphosis.
I've seen better circlets.
Aren't skeletons already human? I know these are meant to be Were-Panthers but there is no point to having "were" if they're already part human. It's like calling that form of Sonic in Sonic Unleashed a Werehog, you just don't do it.
Bone Arks need two men to carry it, even then their attacks are the most inaccurate things ever.
Fine collection of treasures we have here.
Ew slime! Oh wait, I'm not a Belmont.
This is apparently where the Echo of Bat is needed.
Too bad I don't really need it here. I seem to remember having to use it in my first playthrough. Maybe this emulator's GPU must suck that much.
Don't let the cream thing fool you, it's not sticky custard.
Interesting collection of treasures but this isn't the area's punchline.
This little baby is the punchline.
This is going on Alucard right away, even if the Healing Mail shall be sorely missed.
This is what I like to see.
Interesting collection of tombs. But like in all video games, these tombs will have a little surprise.
This will allow us to summon a skeleton. Not that I'll need one to help me at these points of the game.
Sorry, I didn't realize you were kipping there.
Areas like these only come once in a lifetime.
You can guess which one of these enemies will be the harder one to face.
And the winner is, neither!
Who would be cruel enough to name their child Lossoth?
The coolest name for a steak ever.
Hey there new enemy who will only appear in this room!
Geez, I only said hello.
I wonder if enemies know that the fact how I'm ducking is causing them to get killed.
An inferior version of the Stone Mask.
This area appears to be chock full of these things. Not that I'm complaining or anything.
Ice pun goes here.
Is this meant to be a joke room?
Will we have to settle this over a (karma) coin flip?
The Spike Breaker would still be more valued at these points of the game. This one will have quite a bit of Defense on me because of how much room coverage I have, the Intelligence decrease will sting though.
It's boss time!
This is going to be the same as every other boss, spamming Soul Steal till the cows come home.
The Sword Familiar will also be handy here, like with every other boss in the game.
Watch where you're going!
Being surrounded by zombies? No problem!
Looks like we're starting to see some true colors.
This is the best part for launching hits on the boss.
See what I mean.
You should try and kill the core before all of the zombies are destroyed. Naked Granfallon is something you don't want to be in the face of.
35 might not seem like much but it will be if you let this boss drag on for enough time. Believe me, that's what happened when I first battled the boss.
Just keep spamming Soul Steal and the boss will be done in no time.
Finished yet?
This one took quite a bit of lag to get to me.
Shame that Dark isn't that strong of an element, otherwise I would've given this one a thought.
Now that we've cleared the Catacombs, we can use the Spike Breaker at the Royal Chapel to progress the game's "plot".
Darn, I was hoping to charge through the place with the wolf.
Long time no see huh?
She could've at least told us what he looked like.
Time to crush her hopes and dreams.
Alucard sounds prepared for the heat he might get for calling her "precious Lickter" an enemy.
At least now we can solve the mystery of the Gold and Silver rings, which will be happening next part.
